Back in the Pacific Northwest
| | I was born on Queen Ann Hill, Seattle, (My Dad used to work for the Seattle PI Newspaper!) and raised in Olympia, Washington. A few years back I was teaching at Washington State University, and Dave and I owned an Art Gallery as well as had our private counseling practice. We responded to disasters for the Red Cross, taught classes for the Superior Courts, saw clients, made and sold art, and ran our own cherry orchard in Richland, Washington. Then Dave got a great job offer in Hawaii. So 4 years ago we jumped at the chance and moved to Honolulu where we were blessed to learn what living Aloha really means. Returning to our homeland in the Pacific Northwest has felt right to both of us. And we love West Seattle! We are living in the Junction and for the first time don’t have any pets….hummmm…..we are definitely gonna have to do something about that!!! Dave works in the city and I am pleased to be associated with Young at Art Studios on 42nd Ave. I took a consulting job in Anchorage this fall and just missed the snow season, but since our kids live on the other side of Snoqualmie we will get to see the white stuff we missed for the last few years of sunny palm trees and turquoise water winters.
